Honestly I’m with VivRNIndy on Sec+ first, it’s the one cert HR folks actually know and it gives you structure while you’re still working full time. Then do TryHackMe/HTB but keep it realistic like 30 to 45 min a day, and build a little GitHub with notes/writeups so you can show progress. Bootcamps in Chicago can be ok but a lot are pricey for what you get, I’d only bite if they publish real placement stats + have employer connections, sinon ou ka aprann menm bagay yo online.
