I’m not a teacher (I’m up in Brockton MA), but I’ve helped with a couple community events and these might fit. Wyclef’s “Sweetest Girl” is a solid one for migration/identity talk and it’s pretty classroom safe, and Emeline Michel has a bunch of clean tracks that mix Kreyòl and French vibes for language discussion. Also check out Boukman Eksperyans if you want culture/history energy, just preview the lyrics first since some songs get more intense. Group sa a chaje masisi. Love the Alan Cavé suggestion too, kompa love songs are easy for kids to connect with.
