With everything happening in Port-au-Prince, I feel like the South is the new future. I see land prices going up in Camp-Perrin. Is anyone building there? I’m scared to put money down and then the instability spreads.

I am currently building two houses in Cayes. The South is disconnected from the capital’s problems right now, but materials are expensive because we have to truck them in the long way to avoid Martissant.

Advice: Buy the land now. The prices in Cayes have doubled in 3 years because everyone from PaP is moving there. If you wait for ‘perfect stability’ you will never buy.
