    Hi everyone. My cousin in Miami is getting ready for TPS re-registration and we want to avoid a gap in her work permit. For those who did it recently: did you file the I-765 together with the re-registration, or wait for the receipt notice first? We were told the automatic extension on the old card only applies if you file on time, so the timing matters. Any tips on what to keep in the envelope would help.

    Following up on my first post while sorting her re-registration packet. I came across a page on what to do when USCIS later asks for proof of what you submitted: https://www.o1eb1.com/en/rfe-request-for-evidence
    For those who re-registered this cycle: do people just keep the tracking page and receipt notice somewhere safe, or a full copy set of the packet too, in case you have to show it later?
